INTERVIEW

A Door Stopper as a Key Rack?!
A Dentist Who Loves Interiors.

Bori Dental Clinic
Director
Mr. Yosuke Mibori
https://bori-dental.com/

Sato from our company:

It's been a while. As always, it feels more like a home than a hospital waiting room, doesn't it?

Mibori (hereafter omitted honorifics):
It's something I personally enjoy doing. I don't like waiting rooms that look typically like hospital waiting rooms, so I do it this way.

Sato:

You said it feels like home, but I don't think many homes are this stylish. It's more like a high-end resort hotel. And this sofa is so well-worn, it's very comfortable and relaxing.

Mibori:

Thank you. I'm really happy to hear you say that, as that's exactly how I felt when I placed it here.

Sato: Even if there's a long wait here, it wouldn't bother me at all. In fact, I might even come a little early to take a breather. (laughs)

Mibori:

In reality, we operate on an appointment-only basis, so there's usually not much waiting time. However, we also handle quite specialized cases, so many patients come from far away after seeing our website.
Those patients often allow plenty of time, so in that sense, there are cases where they arrive a bit early and wait.

Sato:

Indeed, for customers seeking advanced treatments and quality through private practice, a certain clinic atmosphere, or a sense of value commensurate with the price, might be necessary; otherwise, it could lack persuasiveness.

Mibori:

Well, I don't really think that far ahead, but I personally love interiors, so maybe I just have a bit of aこだわり (particularity). (laughs)

Sato:

Your clinic opened in May 2016, if I recall correctly. How have the ZACK products been since then? Have there been any issues?

Mibori:

No issues at all. Oh, you know that type of door stopper that you could hold in your hand (now discontinued)? That was so incredibly stylish, it truly captivated me.

I was just thinking I wanted a place to put my car and clinic keys on my desk, so I tried it out, and the height was perfect! I use it by hanging S-hooks from it.

Normally, I don't like to put too many things on my desk, but I look at that every day and grin. (laughs)

Sato:

Really! I think you're probably the only person in the world, Mr. Mibori, who uses that door stopper on their desk as a key holder. (laughs)

It's truly eye-opening and interesting to hear how users find unique ways to utilize our products from their own perspective.

Thank you for your time today.
