■ What is ZACK's Graphite Coating Finish?
ZACK's graphite coating finish employs a surface treatment technology called PVD coating (Physical Vapor Deposition). This technology forms a very thin film at the atomic and molecular level, where materials like metals and ceramics are vaporized in a vacuum and physically deposited onto the surface of the substrate (the object being treated), creating a hard and durable film.
The graphite finish created by this PVD coating is characterized by its deep dark gray tone, possessing both the substantial feel of black stainless steel and a metallic texture.
Due to its color, it is sometimes referred to as "gunmetal" in Japan.
